JH Smith COMMUNITY Choir
The Community Choir has been growing for over 30 years now and continues to welcome new members when we are able. This chorus serves adults and high-school-aged singers. Rehearsals are on Monday evenings from 7:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. from September through May in the Fort Zumwalt South High's cafeteria/commons.
We are accepting applications to be put on our waiting list for our Spring 2027 season that begins in early January. Once the registration form is submitted, the President of the JH Smith Community Choir will be in contact to provide additional information. The fee is $75 for singers 21 and up and $30 for high school thru college singers up to 21. As always, scholarships and financial assistance are available.

Youth Choir
Come sing with us! Our Youth Choir program offers a place for young singers to make music, build confidence, and connect with friends.
New this spring: a choir for 2nd and 3rd graders!
Beginning Monday, January 18, 2027, this choir will rehearse from 6:45–7:30 p.m. on Monday evenings. Enrollment is limited to 20 singers, and the cost is $100 per singer for the spring semester.
Students in grades 4–8 may also join us at the beginning of the spring semester for half the full-season tuition. Rehearsals resume Monday, January 18, and continue through May.
SPRING-SEMESTER ENROLLMENT
New singers in grades 4–8 are welcome to join beginning Monday, January 18. Spring-semester tuition is:
- $100 for one child
- $162.50 for two siblings
- $212.50 for three siblings
The new 2nd–3rd Grade Choir is also $100 per singer for the spring semester. Enrollment in that choir is limited to 20 singers.
FULL-SEASON (Spring/Fall 2027) TUITION FOR GRADES 4–8
One-time payment:
- $200 for one child
- $325 for two children (siblings)
- $425 for three children (siblings)
Optional four-month payment plan:
- $50 per month for one child
- $81.25 per month for two children
- $106.25 per month for three children
Financial scholarships are available.
